Two UPL Matches To Be Played Under Floodlights

Two StarTines Uganda Premier League matches have been cleared to be played under floodlights starting this weekend.

Starting this weekend, two matches in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League will be played under floodlights.

The first game will be between Vipers SC and Blacks Power on April 8, 2023, at St Mary's Stadium Kitende, while the second game will be between KCC FC and UPDF on April 9, 2023, at MTN Omondi Stadium.

After these matches, the FUFA Club Licensing Committee will prepare a report that will serve as the basis for any further matches played under floodlights in these stadiums.

Any subsequent games under floodlights in Uganda will follow regulations that will be published in due course.

The FCLC is the governing body responsible for ensuring compliance with the regulations for hosting all matches, including those played during the day or under floodlights.
