Earnest Zamba, a renowned Ugandan rapper who has been using the moniker GNL (Greatness of No Limit) for over a decade, has announced his decision to drop the name.
GNL has become a familiar name in Uganda's hip hop industry, but it seems that the rapper has decided to move on from it.
In a recent statement, the Koi Koi hit singer announced that he will now be referred to as just G.
GNL explained that his family and friends have been calling him that for years, and that "Forest" (presumably a reference to a close acquaintance) knows what G in GNL stands for - Greatness.
So if you happen to meet the rapper in the future, don't be surprised if he introduces himself as Greatness or simply G.
