Zambia Football; Nkana draw 2-all against Green Buffaloes at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka

Choma based Super League side Green Eagles extended their stay on top of the Super League table after beating Kabwe Warriors 1-nil at the Railway Stadium to go to 36 points after 18 games. Spencer Sautu scored the only goal of the match which was his second in successive Super League matches.
 

Napsa Stars bounced back to second position after walloping Mufulira Wanderers 4-0 in a match that saw former Green Eagles striker Tapson Kaseba grab a brace and provide two assists to push the pensioners to 35 points on the table. Other goals came from Collins Sikombe and Doisy Soko. Mufulira Wanderers remain rooted at the bottom with 8 points.
 

Zanaco Football Club humiliated defending champions Zesco United by three goals to nil as striker Roger Kola scored twice in the first half after Chitiya Mususu gave the Bankers the lead early on in the match. In the second half Zanaco held up to the lead and kept a clean sheet to ensure all three points stay in Lusaka.
 

Nkana draw 2-all against Green Buffaloes at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka. The twelve times champions opened the scores from the spot when newly signed Ghanaian striker Martin Dzilah converted from the spotkick in the tenth minute before Leonard Mulenga leveled matters for the Zambia Army sponsored side.

Friday Samu propelled Green Buffaloes into the lead but Nkana had to dig deeper in their reserves as Ghanaian defender Richard Ocran scored the equalizer late on to share the spoils.

 

Lusaka Dynamos got an important 1-0 away win over Lumwana Radiants at Lumwana Grounds. The only goal of the match was scored by Cameroonian striker Baba Basile as Ian Bakala got the better of his mentor on the touchline Patrick Phiri of Lumwana Radiants.
 

Red Arrows recovered from a goal to win 2-1 against Nakambala Leopards in Mazabuka. Former Chipolopolo international striker James Chamanga scored a brace while Junior Zulu’s first half strike for Nakambala Leopards served as a consolation goal.
 

In Ndola, Forest Rangers battled to a pulsating 2-2 draw against Nkwazi. Webster Muzaza scored an own goal in the sixth minute as Nkwazi went into an early lead which lasted for just four minutes as Ghanaian striker Adams Zikiru pulled Rangers on level terms.

In the 34th minute Eric Chomba put the Police outfit in front once against before Lameck Silwaba registered his first goal in the Fole Malembe jersey.

 

A Chanda Mushili brace was enough for Buildcon Football Club to cruise to a 2-nil victory over Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy while Power Dynamos played out to a goalless draw against Kansanshi Dynamos at the Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe
